Vernon Jarvis

Vernon was born in Tulsa, OK and attended Cumberland University and graduated from Ozark Bible College in 1976. He and his wife Marsha are parents to four children, and grandparents to eight grandchildren. They are currently pastors of First Pentecostal Church in London, Kentucky, where Marsha’s father, and WYGE founder, Gene Huff was pastor for 29 years.  The Jarvises established a church in Sand Springs, Oklahoma in 1982 and pastored there until 1994, when they moved to London to assume the pastorate of First Pentecostal Church.  Vernon is actively involved in the ministry of WYGE as weekend on-air announcer and program director.  He also serves as President of Goodnews Outreach, GO, Inc., the missions organization that partners in ministry with WYGE.
